We’re aware of an issue where users upgrading to Vault version 1.20 may encounter the following message on the Vault UI: "This is a standby Vault node but can't communicate with the active node via request forwarding. Sign in at the active node to use the Vault UI." Despite this message, users are still able to successfully sign in and access the UI. Our engineering team is actively investigating and working to resolve this behavior. We will provide an update once a fix is identified and scheduled for release.
